Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with festive cocktails & special restaurant offers

--

St. Patrick’s Day is defined by a few things here in America: beer (usually Guinness), drinks (usually Jameson), and all green everything. Sometimes these things mix in a bad way, like with green beer. This year, though, switch things up in a delicious way and drink green St. Patrick’s Day cocktails.

We’ve rounded up some of the best tasting, fun, and downright enviable St. Patrick’s Day-themed cocktails. Sláinte!

* Don’t want a hangover this St. Patrick’s Day try this trick from Bulletproof

Vitamin C and Unfair Advantage. Before each drink, take one Vitamin C capsule, along with an ampule of Unfair Advantage. Vitamin C will help speed up the metabolism of alcohol by the liver. Unfair Advantage supports mitochondrial health by providing them with the raw materials they need to repair themselves, power your body at full blast, and process food and drink more efficiently. Mitochondria are vital parts of our cells that convert oxygen and nutrients into energy so the body can continue to metabolize as it naturally should. The combination of the Vitamin C and Unfair Advantage will help block the conversion of alcohol into aldehyde, the most hangover-causing metabolite that also causes very fast aging, wrinkles, etc.

Activated charcoal. Take 4 capsules of activated charcoal after you’re done drinking (or if you chose beer or wine, take 1 capsule with each drink). Activated charcoal is a highly absorbent material with millions of tiny pores that can capture, bind, and remove up to 100 times the charcoal’s weight in toxins. It’s a great way to detox the body after a day of drinking.

Glutathione. Glutathione is your body’s master antioxidant and helps support liver detox and immunity, among other things. Take 500–1000 mg before bed after drinking.
