Refreshing Spring Cocktails, Spirits, & Wine To Enjoy

These are all the recipes you need for entertaining this season. All these recipes are super-easy, so you can make them whether you’re hosting a party or just enjoying a drop at home.

While we’ve enjoyed staying cozy all season with mulled wine and spiked hot chocolates, we’re more than a bit ready to embrace all of these spring cocktail recipes (and how much they taste like straight-up sunshine in a glass).

Thawing out from the winter never tasted so good, especially when you have a spiked sparkling basil lemonade in hand!

Spring is the ultimate seasonal refresh, and we think the cocktails we mix up should absolutely match that.

And there’s nothing that wakes up our taste buds more than all our favorite sweet-tart spring fruits, namely lemons and limes, blueberries, and strawberries.

SPRINGTIME COCKTAILS

Tequila Don Julio Paloma

Ingredients

1.5 oz Tequila Don Julio Reposado

0.5 oz Fresh Lime Juice

1 oz Grapefruit Soda

Glassware: Highball Glass

Garnishes: Lime Wedge

Method

Combine Tequila Don Julio Reposado and fresh lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well.

Strain contents into a highball glass over fresh ice. Fill to top with grapefruit soda and garnish with a lime wedge.

The Prime Margarita Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ oz. Don Julio Blanco Tequila

½ oz. St. Germain Elderflower

¾ oz. Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice

¼ oz. Lime Juice

¼ oz. Agave Nectar

¼ oz. House Grenadine

Method

Add ingredients to a mixing tin with ice. Shake vigorously for five seconds. Strain and serve over ice with a lime wheel.

Cincoro Espresso Martini

Ingredients

2 oz Cincoro Reposado Tequila

1 shot espresso, freshly pulled and slightly cooled

.75 oz Mr. Black or coffee liquor

Dash of agave

Method

Combine all ingredients into a shaker, add ice and shake vigorously until very cold. Double strain into chilled cocktail glass. Garnish Three Coffee Beans

Prickly Pear Margarita

Ingredients

1.5 oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila

.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

.75 oz. Prickly Pear Purée

2 Dashes Orange Bitters

Garnish Lime Wheel

Method

Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a small rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish.

Sparkling Raspberry Rosé

Ingredients

1 oz. Casamigos Blanco Tequila

.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

.5 oz. Simple Syrup

4 Raspberries

2 Dashes Bitters

Top Off with Sparkling Brut Rosé

Garnish 2–3 Edible Flowers

Method

Combine all ingredients, except sparkling brut rosé, into a tin shaker. Muddle raspberries. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into a coupe glass. Top off with sparkling brut rosé and garnish.

Cristalino & Soda

Ingredients

1.5 oz. Casamigos Cristalino Tequila

4 oz. Club Soda

Garnish: Upside Down Grapefruit Wedge

Method

Pour Casamigos Cristalino Tequila directly into a Collins glass. Add ice, top off with club soda and garnish.

Add DELEÓN Reposado, agave syrup, and lemon juice into a shaker. Shake and pour into the wine glass using a strainer. Add sparkling and top with garnishes.

Gently stir ingredients in a separate glass. Strain into rocks glass, add garnish, and serve.

1.5oz Johnnie Walker Black Label

4oz Peach Iced Tea

.25oz Lemon Juice

.25oz Crème de Peche

Build ingredients into an ice-filled highball glass and stir. Garnish and enjoy!

Golden Hour

Ingredients

1.5oz Astral Tequila Añejo

0.5oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice

0.5oz Hot Honey

0.25oz Fresh Lemon Juice

Glassware: Coupe Glass

Garnishes: Grapefruit Wedge

Method

Shake all ingredients with ice and double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a grapefruit wedge and enjoy.

Buchanan’s La Familia

Ingredients

1.5 oz Buchanan’s 12-Year-Old DeLuxe Blended Scotch Whisky

1 oz Guava Juice

.5 oz Lemon Juice

.5 oz Simple Syrup Sparkling Wine Or Soda

Garnish with Guava And / Or Lemon Slice

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker, shake it up and strain into a highball glass with ice. Top with sparkling wine, garnish with a guava or lemon slice– and salud!

Old Parr Ginger

Ingredients

1.5 oz. Old Parr Aged 12 Years

3 oz. premium ginger ale

Squeeze of orange

Glassware: Highball Glass

Garnish: Orange wedge

Method

Fill a highball glass with ice, Pour Old Parr Aged 12 Years. Top with premium ginger ale. Add a squeeze of orange, stir and garnish with an orange wedge.

Baileys Coffee Toffee Brown Sugar Shaken Oatmilk Latte

Ingredients

2 oz Baileys Coffee Toffee Non-Dairy Liqueur made with Oat Milk

1 shot Espresso

3 tsp Brown Sugar

3 oz Oat Milk

Glassware: Beer glass

Garnishes: Cinnamon Sprinkle

Method

Combine 1.5 oz Baileys Coffee Toffee Non-Dairy Liqueur Made with Oatmilk, 1 shot of Espresso, and 2 Tbsp of Brown Sugar in a glass. Add ice and shake for 20 seconds. Top with cold Foam. Combine 0.5 oz Baileys Coffee Toffee Non-Dairy Oat Milk Liqueur , 3 oz Oat Milk, 1 Tsp of brown sugar , Froth with a frother for 30 seconds or until tripled in size. Garnish with a cinnamon sprinkle.

Lime Cooler

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz BACARDÍ Lime Flavored rum

1/2 oz watermelon liqueur

1/2 oz lime juice

1/4 oz simple syrup

1 1/2 oz club soda

Method

Combine all ingredients expect club soda in a shaker. Shake vigorously with plenty of ice. Strain into a highball glass over crushed or cubed ice, and top with club soda. Garnish with a lime wheel and watermelon wedge.

Texas Buckiin’

Ingredients

1.5 oz SirDavis American Whisky

.25 oz Lemon Juice

.25 oz Honey Syrup*

4 oz Ginger Beer

Garnish: Lemon wedge

Method

In a glass, pour SirDavis American Whisky over ice. Add fresh lemon juice and honey syrup, and gently stir to mix ingredients. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a lemon wedge.

To make honey syrup, add 2 parts honey and 1 part water into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the honey is dissolved. Allow to cool and transfer to an airtight container.

Solera Sunshine

Ingredients

1.5 oz Santa Teresa 1796

0.5 oz Simple Syrup

1 oz Lime Juice

1.5 oz Ginger Beer

2 Chunks of Pineapple

Method

Muddle pineapple in a shaker, add the rest of ingredients, shake with ice, double strain over ice in a glass, top with ginger beer. Garnish with mint sprig and half pineapple sliced.

Highball

Ingredients

2 oz ANGEL’S ENVY Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels

4 oz chilled soda water

Lemon peel garnish

Method

Add all ingredients into a highball glass. Top with ice and stir. Garnish with a lemon peel. Add your favorite bitters or try an orange zest to add dimension.

The Glenlivet Tartan Tini by Thomas Doherty

Ingredients

2 parts The Glenlivet 12 YO

1 part Sweet Vermouth (optional: infuse with Scottish breakfast tea)

2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Method

Stir and strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a manicured orange twist & Scottish shortbread

St-Germain Hugo Spritz

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz St-Germain

2 oz Sparkling Wine

2 oz Soda water

6–8 Mint Leaves

Method

Build in glass, stir to incorporate and garnish mint bouquet and lime wedge

The Macallan Ayla

Ingredients

40ml The Macallan Harmony Vibrant Oak

20ml Rhubarb syrup

20ml Raspberry Tea infusion

10ml Bickfords lemon & barley cordial

Top up soda water

Method

ICE: Tall thin highball filled with ice

GARNISH: Frozen red currants on stem (3–5 berries)

For the Raspberry Tea Infusion: Steep 25g of infusion in 1L of still Scottish mineral water for 1hr and strain

The Peacock

Ingredients

50ml The Macallan Harmony Vibrant Oak

50ml Akashi-Tai Shiraume Gingo Umeshu Liqueur

100ml Butterfly Pea Flower tea

Crushed ice

Garnish with peacock feather

For the butterfly pea flower tea: Cold brew 25g of butterfly pea flower tea in 1L of Scottish mineral water for at least 10 minutes until liquid is dark blue then strain and chill

Method

Add the tea to the tumbler over crushed ice

Add the liqueur, then finally the whisky

Give it a quick stir to show the colour change

Garnish, serve & enjoy!

PATRÓN CRISTALINO Margarita

Ingredients

1.5 oz PATRÓN CRISTALINO, an Additive-Free Tequila

0.5 oz Citrus Cordial

0.25 oz Agave Nectar

2 dashes Salt solution 4:1

Charred Lemon Wedge

Method

Add all ingredients to a rocks glass over a block of ice

Garnish with flamed oils from a lemon peel, then discard

Ingredients can be pre-batched and frozen

The French Mule

Ingredients

2 oz Rémy Martin VSOP

1/2 oz lime juice

4 oz ginger beer

Lime wheel

Method

Pour 2 oz of Rémy Martin VSOP and 1/2 oz of lime juice into a copper mug.

Add ice cubes and 4 oz of ginger beer.

Stir to combine.

To garnish, drop a lime wedge into the mug.

CÎROC Limonata Spritz

Ingredients

1.5 oz. CÎROC Limonata

2.0 oz. Lemonade

1.0 oz. Sparkling Wine

Method

Add all ingredients to a wine glass and gently stir together, then garnish with Club Soda, Lemon Wheel and Fresh Mint garnish

Maple Ginger Sour

Ingredients

2 oz Dewar’s 12 Year Old scotch whisky

.75 oz Lemon juice

.5 oz Maple syrup

.5 oz Ginger syrup

.75 oz Blood orange juice

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Method

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into ice filled rocks glass.

Sparkling Lemon

Ingredients

1 ½ oz Bombay Sapphire

5 oz Sparkling Lemonade (like San Pellegrino Limonata)

Method

Combine all ingredients in your favorite balloon glass or wine glass full of ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

Mary Queen of Spritz

Ingredients

1oz Aberfeldy 12

1oz Noilly Prat Dry

.25oz St Germain

2 Dashes Peychaud’s

2 dashes absinthe

Top M&R Prosecco

Method

Build ingredients (with exception of prosecco) in chilled highball glass over ice. Top with prosecco and stir. Garnish with expressed lemon peel.

Irish Maid

Ingredients

2 oz Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey

¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice

¾ oz Simple Syrup

½ oz St. Germain

2 Cucumber Slices

Method

Muddle cucumbers in tin, add all other ingredients. Shake and fine strain into a Rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice.

Strawberry Supernova

Ingredients

1 ½ oz Teremana Blanco

1 oz Strawberry Puree

1 oz Coconut Water

½ oz Fresh Lime Juice

Top w/ Champagne

Method

Combine Teremana Blanco, Lime Juice, Strawberry Puree and Coconut Water. Shake, strain and pour into a couple or champagne glass. Top with Champagne and garnish with a strawberry.

Cafe Guayaba

Ingredients

1.5 oz Zacapa №23

0.75 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur

0.5 oz Guava Puree

2 dashes Orange Bitters

Method

Combine all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice.

Shake and strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with sliced guava and 3 coffee beans

Guava Colada

Ingredients

1.5 oz Santa Teresa 1796

.75 oz Lime Juice

.75 oz Monin Guava Syrup

.75 oz Coco Lopez Coconut Cream

Method

Add all ingredients in shaken tin, add ice, shake and strain over glassware.

Seedlip Notas de Agave Margarita

Ingredients

2 oz Seedlip Notas de Agave

1 Tablespoon Agave Syrup

½ oz Fresh Lime

Method

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add 2 oz of Seedlip with 1 tablespoon of agave syrup and ½ oz of fresh lime. Shake well and strain into a glass. Garnish with a salt rim and an expressed orange peel or dehydrated lime disc.

Knob Creek® Back Porch Punch

Ingredients

2 parts Knob Creek® Bourbon

1 part black tea syrup*

1/2 parts freshly squeezed lemon juice

10–15 mint leaves (setting aside three for garnish)

1 dash Angostura® bitters

Method

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously.

Double-strain using a fine mesh strainer into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

Garnish with remaining mint sprigs (lightly slapping sprigs against your hand
before using to release aroma).

LALO Sparkling Bloody Maria

Ingredients

4 oz LALO Tequila

5 oz tomato juice

1.5 oz lime juice

0.25 oz Worcestershire Sauce

0.25 oz Tabasco

0.25 oz Soy sauce

Celery salt to taste

Sparkling water to taste

Celery for garnish

Method

Mix the tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco, soy sauce and celery salt. Add ice, LALO Tequila and Bloody Mary mix in a glass and top with sparkling water. Add celery as garnish.

Spicy Matador

Ingredients

1.5 ounces Tres Agaves Tequila Blanco

3 ounces pineapple juice

.5 ounce lime juice

Half-muddled jalapeno

Lime wheel and jalapeno slice for garnish

Black salted half rim

Method

Wet half rim of a martini or coupe glass with a lime and dip rim in black salt

Muddle half a jalapeno in a shaker

Add tequila, pineapple juice and lime juice into the shaker

Fill shaker with ice, then shake vigorously for 30 seconds

Double strain and pour into glass

Add lime wheel and jalapeno slice for garnish

Toki Highball

Ingredients

45ml Toki blended Japanese Whisky

3 parts premium soda water

Grapefruit slide or lemon peel

Method

Fill a glass with ice and let chill

Por chilled whisky

Stir

Add chilled soda (3–4 part soda for 1 part whisky)

Give a single stir from bottom to top with a bar spoon

Add a twist of grapefruit or lemon citrus. Enjoy!

Basil 75

Ingredients

1.5 parts Basil Hayden

3/4 parts fresh lemon juice

3/4 parts simple syrup

Prosecco

Method

Shake all ingredients and strain over a large cube, top with prosecco or sparkling wine

Haku Martini

Ingredients

3 parts Haku Japanese Craft Vodka

1/2 part Dolin dry vermouth

1 dash orange bitters

Lemon twist

Method

Add ingredients to a mixing glass

Stir, then strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with lemon twist

PATRÓN EL CIELO Martini

Ingredients

2 oz PATRÓN EL CIELO

0.5 oz MARTINI Ambrato Vermouth

0.5 oz Noilly Prat Extra Dry Vermouth

3 dashes orange bitters

Method

Add all to a mixing glass, and stir with ice. Pour neat into a chilled Nick & Nora glass, garnish with orange twist.

Glassware: Martini or nick & nora/cocktail glass

Ice type: Cubed ice (for stirring)

Garnish: Orange “bee” twist

Mount Gay Rum Eclipse Navy Paloma ​

Ingredients

1oz Navy Strength ​

3–4 oz grapefruit soda​

Method

Garnish with grapefruit slice​

Blade & Bow New Fashioned

Ingredients

1 oz. Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

.5 oz. elderflower liqueur

Splash of soda

2 orange slices

Cocktail cherry

Method

Add Blade and Bow and elderflower liqueur

Muddle one of the orange slices

Add ice, stir, and top with a splash of soda

Garnish with an orange slice and brandied cherry

Ingredients

2 oz Hatozaki Finest Blended

Top with tonic or soda water

Lemon peel, for garnish

Method

Combine all ingredients in a glass with ice. Garnish with a lemon peel.

Blackberry Lavender Limeade

Ingredients

1.5 OZ Tequila Corralejo Silver

.75 OZ Real blackberry puree

.07 OZ Lime juice

2 Dashes Lavender Bitters

Method

Shake over ice. Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a line wheel.

Mayenda Elevated Margarita

Ingredients

1.5 oz Mayenda Blanco Tequila

0.75 oz Agave Syrup

0.75 oz Lime Juice

Hibiscus Powder Dusted Glass

Method

Fill a shaker with ice, add all ingredients together and shake.

Strain into a shallow coupe glass.

This cold brew mixture is placed in selected American white oak barrels, where it rests for six months, allowing the barrel to add maturity and complexity while absorbing the rich coffee notes. At the end of this period, the cold brew is extracted, and Santa Teresa 1796, once it’s undergone its triple aging process through the unique Solera method, is introduced to the coffee-infused barrels. This final step, lasting three months, allows the rum to acquire subtle notes of coffee.

Colección Visionaria Edición 02 is a limited-edition sipping rum part of Brugal’s newest collection of ultra-premium rums, Colección Visionaria. Unlike any other rum currently on the market, the rum was crafted using a brand-new Aromatic Cask Toasting process, developed by Brugal’s female rum master and fifth generation descendant from the Brugal family, Jassil Villanueva Quintana. Inspired by the Dominican’s rich coffee culture, CV02 presents flavors of cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, weaving together with a deep coffee flavor that creates a smooth and balanced finish. To achieve to coffee finish, casks are toasted with 100% Dominican coffee beans, allowing the wood to soak up their flavor, before being filled with rum and aged to perfection.
