Hamptons Happenings: Southampton History Museum’s Halsey House Gala

Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff will co-chair the summer gala with honoree Chuck Scarborough.

Our favorite New York Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff will co-host the Southampton History Museum's Halsey House Gala honoring NBC’s Chuck Scarborough on July 6, 2024 in Southampton, New York. Businessman Doug Halsey will co-chair along with Jean Shafiroff.

The highly anticipated Halsey House Gala will celebrate local history, and culture, and the start of the 2024 Hampton’s summer. Guest of honor, Chuck Scarborough, is marking a milestone of 50 years at WNBC this year. The event celebrates Chuck Scarborough’s many contributions to American journalism and Southampton as part of the Lake Agawam Conservancy.

Spend an evening on the grounds of one of the oldest dwellings in New York State while dancing under the stars to live music. Enjoy a selection of exquisite hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a raw bar stocked with local oysters.

This year’s Silent Auction features a variety of unique items donated by members of our local community and international brands including one-of-a-kind works of art and a Tour of NBC Studios with
Chuck Scarborough and a beautiful gift from Asprey.

Make some amazing memories while helping us to preserve the history of Southampton. Many of the guests have said, “This will be the most fun you’ll have all summer!

Tickets are: $250 for General Admission, $150 for Young Adult (21–35), $50 for Junior (17–20)
