Freshie was started by husband and wife duo, Ryne and Paige Iseminger, back in 2016 while on a group trip to Mexico. The crew wanted a refreshing but healthy drink, so Ryne whipped up a delicious cocktail made out of the fresh ingredients in their kitchen — tequila, limes, agave nectar, and sparkling water.
What instantly became a hit amongst this group then became the couples go-to drink for all social events — backyard BBQ’s, music festivals, group dinners, etc.
After ample praise for the cocktail, they knew they had to share it with the rest of the world, so they partnered with a fourth generation family-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico, sourced organic ingredients, and created the ultimate canned tequila seltzer that is now known as Freshie. Freshie is made the same way that Ryne made the first Freshie back in 2016, utilizing only four organic ingredients — Blanco tequila, sparkling water, lime, and agave nectar.
The refreshing canned cocktail is the first USDA-certified tequila seltzer on the market, has only 99 calories, and is offered in three delicious flavors: Lime, Grapefruit Guava, and Blood Orange Habanero.
